حيث كتب العسال في حسابه الشخصي على الفيسبوك قائلا: مع إحترامى للجميع وحقهم فى الترشح لمجلس إدارة نادى الزمالك أمام المستشار مرتضى وقائمته بس ده نادي الزمالك يا جماعة كيان كبير جدا جدا مش مركز شباب فنادى الزمالك من أصعب الأندية في الادارة.
حيث أن نادي الزمالك كان بيديره لجنة من كبار الإقتصاديين بعد وقف مجلس مرتضى منصور خلال السنة الماضية وبدعم وزارة الشباب والرياضة ورغم ذلك كانت الأمور صعبة للغاية على كافة المستويات وعانى الأعضاء كثيرا جدا ومنهم من قرر عدم الذهاب للنادى.
إلى أن عاد مجلس مرتضى منصور وعادت الأمور إلى نصابها الطبيعى فى أقل من شهرين أنا بقول الكلام ده لإنه واقع شوفته وعاصرته بصفتي عضو جمعية عمومية ثم إنني قريب جدا من الأحداث وشاهدت مقدرة المستشار مرتضى وذكاء إدارته فى عودة النادى لازدهاره فى وقت قياسى جدا.
نادى الزمالك يحتاج إلى تكملة الإنجازات من فرع السادس من أكتوبر بمنشأته الراقية جدا وبناء إستاد الزمالك ولن يستطيع أحد فعل ذلك غير فكر وشخصية قوية يستطيع تدبير موارد للنادي لإستكمال هذه الإنجازات العملاقة والراقية.
و أقولها بكل صراحة وثقة لم يأتي على مدار تاريخ نادى الزمالك من إستطاع أن يصل بالنادى إلى هذا الرقي والعظمة على كافة المستويات سوى مجلس مرتضى منصور.
لم يأتي من عنده قدرة على تدبير الموارد وضخ أموال للنادي سوى مرتضى منصور فمن رأى في نفسه هذه المقدرة وأشك في ذلك بل أجزم بعدم المقدرة فليتفضل للترشح ومن لم يرى في نفسه مقدرة فليتفضل للخارج ويدعم الآخرين.
فنحن لسنا في تناحر أو كيد ولكننا نعمل لمصلحة الإعضاء والذين جاءوا للنادي للإستمتاع ونشأة أولادهم رياضيا.
