اتهمت صديقة ماسون جرينوود لاعب فريق مانشستر يونايتد اللاعب بالعنف المنزلي، في منشور لها عبر موقع “إنستجرام”، وأرفقت المنشور بصور لكدمات في جسدها، وبخلاف الصور فقد نشرت صديقة ماسون جرينوود، تسجيلا صوتيًا يبيِّن بوضوح قيام اللاعب بتهديدها.
بعدها أصدرت شرطة مدينة مانشستر بيانًا اليوم بشأن الاتهامات التي تعرض لها اللاعب ماسون جرينوود في الساعات القليلة الماضية.
وجاء في البيان: “شرطة مدينة مانشستر على علم بالصور ومقاطع الفيديو التي يتم حاليا تداولها على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، والتحقيقات جارية لمعرفة كل الظروف المحيطة بالواقعة”.
وكان نادي مانشستر يونايتد الإنجليزي قد أصدر بيانا أكد خلاله أنه يتابع كل ما يتم تناقله بشأن المهاجم ماسون جرينوود، وأكد النادي الإنجليزي في البيان أنه لا يدعم العنف من أي نوع، وأشار البيان أن النادي لن يعلق على الواقعة حتى يتم معرفة كل الحقائق.
