اختار الكابتن محمود جابر المدير الإداري للفريق الأول للكرة بالنادي المصري فندق أونومو بمدينة دوالا الكاميرونية كمقر لاقامة الفريق.
وذلك استعداداً لمباراته أمام القطن الكاميروني على ستاد مدينة جاروا في الثالثة عصر الأحد المقبل بتوقيت القاهرة.
ضمن الجولة الأولى من دور المجموعات للبطولة الكونفيدرالية الأفريقية في نسختها التاسعة عشر.
وكان الكابتن محمود جابر تجول في عدد من فنادق مدينة دوالا لاختيار الأنسب منها لإقامة الفريق.
إلا أنه وبعد المشاورات مع الأستاذ حسن عمار رئيس بعثة المصري والكابتن كريم ذكري مدير الكرة تم اختيار فندق أونومو
حيث أن هذا الفندق استضاف مسبقاً المنتخب الوطني قبل خوضه لمباراة كوت ديفوار بدور الستة عشر لبطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية.
وذلك نظرًا لقربه من مطار دوالا حيث يبتعد عن المطار لنحو عشرة دقائق فقط .
كما يتميز الفندق بوجود قاعات طعام منفصلة وقاعات للمحاضرات ونادي صحي وصالة جيمانزيوم على أعلى مستوى.
وستصل بعثة المصري عصر الغد الخميس إلى دوالا حيث ستبيت هناك لمدة ليلة واحدة قبل التوجه في اليوم التالي إلى مدينة جاروا في رحلة طيران داخلية تستغرق قرابة 90 دقيقة.
علمًا بأن الفريق سيؤدي تدريباً خفيفًا بأحد ملاعب دوالا بعد وصوله مباشرة.
كما سيخضع الفريق لجلسات التأهيل والاستشفاء بالنادي الصحي الملحق بمقر الإقامة بفندق أونومو.
