وصعد الفراعنة كذلك للمركز الرابع داخل قارة إفريقيا، بعد منتخب السنغال بطل القارة، الذي يحتل المركز الـ١٨ عالميًا، ومنتخب المغرب الذي يحتل المركز الـ٢٤ عاليميًا، ومنتخب نيجيريا الذي يحتل المركز الـ٣٢ عالميًا.
أما على المستوى العربي، فلا يسبق المنتخب المصري في التصنيف سوى المنتخب المغربي، ليحتل منتخب مصر بذلك المركز الثاني على مستوى المنتخبات العربية.
كما يعتبر الفراعنة كذلك هم رابع أفضل منتخب من حيث التحسن، قياسًا بتصنيف شهر ديسمبر الماضي، حيث صعد منتخب جامبيا ٢٥ مركزًا، منتخب غينيا الاستوائية صعد ١٥ مركزًا ومنتخبالكاميرون صعد ١٢ مركزًا.
