وصلت بعثة نادي مازيمبي الكونغولي في ساعة مبكرة من صباح اليوم إلى مطار القاهرة الدولي، إستعدادًا لمباراته أمام النادي المصري، في إطار الجولة الثانية من المجموعة الثالثة لكأس الكونفيدرالية والمقرر إقامتها في السادسة مساء الأحد المقبل على ملعب إستاد الجيش ببرج العرب.
وكان في إستقبال البعثة البالغ قوامها 40 فردًا والتي يترأسها كابيلا ايلارم سكرتير عام النادي كل من مسئولي الشئون الإدارية بالنادي المصري والذين إصطحبوا البعثة إلى أحد فنادق برج العرب للدخول في معسكر مغلق حتى موعد المباراة.
وكان المدير الفني لفريق مازيمبي، الفرنسي فرانك دوما قد أعلن عن قائمته المختارة للمباراة والتي تضم 25 لاعبًا جاءوا كتالي :
ففي حراسة المرمى : ابراهيم مونكورو ، سليمان شايبو ، باجيو سيادي.
أمافي خط الدفاع : جونسون أتيبو ، جوس ايساما ، ارنست لوزولو ، جوديت ماسينجو ، تاندي موابي ، ماجلور نتامبوي ، جوزيف اوشايا.
وفي خط الوسط : كريستيان كوامي ، جلودي ليكونزا ، باتينت موامبا ، بواز نجالامولومي ، ريتشارد نجو ، سوزي زيمانجا.
