بعد انطلاق انتخابات النادي الزمالك، حدثت مشاجرة بين المرشحين وبعضهم البعض، أثناء التدافع من أجل الانتخاب، وقام رئيس اللجنة المشرفة على الانتخابات بأمر أمن النادي بإغلاق البوابات وعدم السماح بدخول أي منتخِب، وإيقاف التصويت في اللجان، كما تحدث مشاجرة حاليا بين مرتضى منصور ورئيس اللجنة المشرفة.
حيث تقام اليوم ١١ من شهر فبراير انتخابات النادي الزمالك، ويتقدم على منصب الرئيس، مرتضى منصور، أحمد سليمان وعمر هريدي، وعلى منصب نائب الرئيس، يعتبر أبرز المرشحين هشام نصر ومصطفى هدهود.
وما زالت الأجواء هادئة قبل بدء الانتخابات المقرر إقامتها في تمام الساعة التاسعة صباحًا، ولم يظهر أحد من المرشحين على منصب الرئيس أو نائب الرئيس حتى الآن.
ومن الجدير بالذكر أن قوات الأمن تحاوط مقر القلعة البيضاء، من أجل التأكد من سلامة المرشحين، أعضاء الجمعية العمومية، الصحفيين وكل من يحضر انتخابات نادي الزمالك.
