تداول رواد التواصل الاجتماعي مقطع فيديو للمطرب عمر كمال، أثناء هجومه علي الإعلامي أحمد عبد العزيز مقدم برنامج الوسط الفني، وكان يبدو عليه التعصب والغضب الشديد، مما جعلة يتراشق بالتصريحات عبر الفيديو، ولكن المفاجئة أن أغلب التعليقات التي تم كتابتها داخل اللايف ضد ما يقوله عمر كمال، مما جعلة يقوم بمسح اللايف بعد نزولة.
من ناحية أخري قدم الإعلامي أحمد عبد العزيز ضمن إطار حلقة برنامج الوسط الفني المذاع عبر قناة الحدث، بعض كواليس رحلة المطرب عمر كمال لأمريكا، وكعادته قام بإطلاق العديد من التصريحات حول حفل عمر كمال في أمريكا، مما أدي إلى تصرف عمر كمال بهذا الشكل.
جديرا بالذكر أن الإعلامي أحمد عبد العزيز يقدم برنامج الوسط الفني منذ عدة سنوات قبل أن يتوقف بعد إغلاق قناة الفراعين التي كانت تبث البرنامج عبر شاشتها، ولكنة عاد مرة أخري لتقديم البرنامج من خلال شاشة قناة الحدث.
